How do you separarte yourself from someone who has taken the place of a soulmate... when they arn't supposed to and can never fill that place properly, yet you love with an incredible emotional attatchement?

 

Why would you want to? Really you can never replace someone in your life. So you have someone you love with an "incredible emotional attatchment", yet you want to separate yourself from them. There must be something else you are not telling here.

When you sense disaster, but know there's nothing to be done, is a warning sufficient?  Or will it provoke what I fear is to come?

 

Will you set into motion what you fear by speaking of it or acting to try to prevent it? I do not know the answer. All I can say is if you do nothing and then what you fear comes true, you will always wonder if you could have done something to prevent it.

Or... an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Do you believe in fate? Something has recently happened to me which forces me to acknowledge the possibility that fate does control us. But that is mine to wrestle with and not yours.

Yes I believe you can. Though not for something like the common cold which was suggested in the original question. I have heard of court cases where someone was charged for knowingly infecting someone with AIDS through unprotected sex. If you could bring them up on charges there then you could certainly sue them for damages also in civil court. But if you're looking to get revenge on the person who coughed on you at work, and make some extra cash on the side, I think you're out of luck. You never know though. Some of the lawyers in the U.S. take on crazier cases than that.

I wonder if I could sue the next door neighbor's kids for playing their music and causing me mental anguish. Where is that card Jim the Hammer gave me the other day. Maybe I'll give him a call.

Well. That's an interesting question. What makes you think he hasn't alReady been around your way to visit? And I would think that he wouldn't relieve you of freezing where you are beCause from what I understand, he's just not that kind of a guy to do someone a favor like that.

But, to answer your question, if he hasn't alresdy been to visit you, the next time that you are totally happy, when you think things just can't get any better and if one more wonderful thing happens in your life you'll just explode... that's when he ll come to pay his visit.

Cutters. I won't pretend to understand it because I don't. I know that people who do this do it usually as a way of coping with stress. It makes them feel like they have control over something. Though I think if they could look at it from an outside point of view they would find if they had real control over it they could stop doing it. But maybe they don't want to. Self mutilation has been around for years. Earings and piercings and body modification has become more or less accepted. But it has a purpose. Someone I know has many. It's not for me personally but for them it's a way to express themselves. Something to remind them of someone else's pain. Plus it's considered decoration. Cutting is not.

I must confess you do present me with tough questions which I have never dreamed of trying to answer. My only advice which I can give in confidence is to be supportive and understanding. She is on the right track with professional help, but no power in the world can make someone take their hands off of their own neck. Cutting alone probably will not kill her but she will be scared for life most likely and thats a terrible thing to live with in itself. But whatever scared her mentally is the real cause. Many who cut have suffered some childhood trauma such as molestation. Such is the evil of the world that my pretend darkness can nevr compare to and would never want to.

It is a terrible thing to have so many of your friends in such a bad way. Its a comment on society today what is known and the things that go on in people's minds which is not known. If I prayed I would say a prayer for her, but I do not. The Gods forgot they made me, so I forget them too. So all I can wish her is good luck. And I'm truely sorry that I don't have something more to tell you. But I honestly don't know what else you could do. Endings are not always happy.

Surely there would be easier ways to commit suicide other than that. Don't go getting any ideas now. That's not what I'm getting at. Punishment is one of course. The feelings of inadaquacy that we all have at one time or another can be quite powerful in some people. No one knows the real reason except for you of course. I could throw out all kinds of ideas here and maybe never hit the one that is the cause. Some people just plainly have a built in need for self destruction. I really find myself at a loss as to what to say. I was happy that you seemed to be doing better. I'm disappointed but not in you. Just in the fact that it had to happen so soon. Because it happens to all of us in one way or another. I myself quit smoking for a number of years and then started again and have not been able to kick the habit since. The difference between that and other drug or alcohol addictions is that chances are I will live a bit longer than someone else. In the end though, if I cannot quit it will kill me also. But we all fall off the wagon once in awhile as they say. Don't be too hard on yourself. You're getting professional help and thats an awsome step in the right direction.

You ask me any question about anything, anytime you want and I'll make my best effort to answer as soon as I can. I certainly don't have all the answers but if you think it will help I'll do whatever I can be it oh so little.

Well, lets think about that for a second or two, shall we? Cripes what is there to think about? Actually quite a bit. I used to drink every chance I had till I had nothing left. Inside or out. I was not an alcholic though. I just didn't know how to deal with life and the things about myself that I hated. So yes it's possible that someone who drikns that way is an alcholic, but it's also entirely possible that there could be some other reason besides addiction.

 

And I must say, I am sorry it took so long to answer you, but you know how life is. Maybe I need a good stiff drink? No, I think I'll pass on that this time. Next time, I don't know. But this time, I'll pass.

Ahhh it feels good to be back for a short time. Wouldn't you like to know where I have been? Lets leave that for another day and carry on like we used to. Don't you miss the good old days? I know I do. The terrible screams, the bloodshed, the tears and nightmares. And some people are afraid to get married hehe.

 

I see I have some questions to answer and there would be more I am sure except for my negilgence of tending to this place. Well well I have been away for a long time. Bush is president? I know that bush has always ruled my world but I never in my wildest dreams would have believed.... oh wait now. I have been gone a long time. I think I have made a mistake here. You are talking about the man from Texas are you not? I thought this question was too easy.

Not being otherwise politically inclined other than to help put the Emperor on the throne( he only fell off once and it wasn't his fault), I have no other answer than sheer dumb luck, much strong arming behind the scenes and several quotes from the book of Revelation in the Bible that I will leave you to find and decipher for yourself.

 

2. Is it true that nice guys finish last?

 

You must be a man to ask a question like that. Only a man would hold out the hope that there could be any other answer to this question besides yes.

 

3. Why did you choose "Steen"?

 

Ahhh a question that cuts to the mechanical heart of me. I have been asked this before and my answer has always been the same. Put "Steen" through a language translator and see what you come up with. Let me know what you think. This just may be one of those jokes about how you keep a fool occupied. On the other hand there may be something there to be discerned depending on who you are and what mental faculties you possess. Let me know what you come up with. All answers will be considered and the winners will be entered into a drawing for a big prize of nothing. But think of the pride you will have from a job well done. Yeah right.

 

4. If someone accuses you of being a Jedi in disguise, what would you do?

 

No one would ever accuse me of being a Jedi in disguise. Because there is no such thing. Now that's a little secret I just let all of you in on. Please don't spread it around too much though. It could affect my supposed pay raise. My whole vacation trip to Naboo depends on that raise. I heard that the last Queen had a sister. I plan on looking up her...ahhh I mean looking her up.

We all wear a mask don't we? Remember the old Billy Joel song The Stranger? Good stuff and so very true. If I was to lose this mask which I have on now, I'm not sure I would pick another one. This started as a joke until I realized that people seemed to care what I had to say. You yourself Dr. wear a mask. I'm sure you're not really a doctor. Maybe you are but I somehow doubt it. I would think a real Dr. would not offer anonymous advice and dream interpertations over the internet. But strange things do happen.

So the answer is there is no other mask for me. This one is special. I will not trade it and if I lose it then that, as they say, will be that.

As for your dream Dr, I will deliver it to you as soon as I have one that I remember. I hope I don't have to resort to stopping my medication to achieve this. OHH the sacrifices I make in the name of internet entertainment.

Christmas is upon us. Ahhh what a time of the year it is. Now you are probably asking yourself what does a Dark Lord such as myself have to say about Christmas? This is for people who hate Christmas. It's only once a year. You may have some very bad memories of Christmas from when you were a child. Lost a loved one? Lost something of yourself over the years. Christmas does not have to be a bad time of the year. You can choose for it to be or you can make of it what you will. I myself have always hated Christmas. Until last year. A friend of mine(gasp, yes he has a friend), asked me to do some charity work with him at the holidays last year and having no immediate family around at the time, I thought what the hell, it cant be any worse than sitting home on the couch watching TV. So we made the rounds, going to the homeless shelter and the childrens sick ward at the hospital, dressed as Santa and one of his elves. I wont bother to tell you which one I was.

The point is that after passing out some food collected from work at the shelter and toys collected locally, donated by several area stores, I felt better than I had in years. Of course I had to add my own little touch and bought a bottle of cheap wine for the guy down on the corner of 82nd. My buddy frowned and said I wasnt helping him and should have bought him some food. Sure he's right. But when you reach in your stocking on Christmas morning, do you want to pull out an apple or a chocolate bar?

Even a Lord of the Sith can use a smile once in awhile. Do something for someone else that really deserves it this year. Just pick one person. You dont even have to tell anyone. Just do something for one person who truely deserves a break. So next year when Christmas comes around you wont be able to sit there and say, blah, Christmas. You want a good Christmas experience? Go out and make one.

So, since no one seems to have a question for me, I am forced to question myself. Something I do not like to do.

So, my question to myself is, why did you choose this guise out of all that you could have chosen?

 

Well, it started out as a game really. We all want to be someone else. Something we are not. I am no exception. I thought I would just have some fun and leave some clues as to who I am and maybe a smart person would figure it out. Questions would pass the boring times away. Then it seemed that people actually enjoyed the nonsense I put on here, and they would listen to what I say. So it became a way to have an influence on people and offer advice if I had any. Yes, choosing a Sith Lord as your alter ego, something that represents evil is a strange choice but now Steen has become a part of me. I put him on a shelf for a long time to see what would happen. Someone gave a damn. So I came back. And I will continue. Darth Steen will do what all people should do. Aspire to do something worth something to someone else.

 

And any questions you may have, bring them on. But dont expect a straight answer everytime. Im only human. Well, parts of me are. I havent figured out what the other parts are yet.
